Welcome!  This website has information to help students find their niche on campus within the life sciences. The University of Wisconsin-Madison is an international leader in bioscience education, offering undergraduates over 30 biological majors in six undergraduate Schools/Colleges. In addition to the academic majors, UW-Madison offers numerous opportunities to apply science knowledge via research, study abroad, student organizations, and internship/career development opportunities.

Advising: UW-Madison professional and peer advisors help students achieve the most out of their bioscience education at UW-Madison. If you are unsure which biosicence major might be of interest read our 12 ways to start narrowing down your bioscience major or schedule an appointment with a CCAS advisor to get started. If you know which bioscience major you’re interested in studying, we would suggest meeting with the advisors for that program.
